Leah is a New England native that joined our team in 2017. Taking marketing classes all four years of both high school and college, she is excited to continue working closely with Ronelle and the community to become more involved throughout Thurston County and surrounding Washington areas. She is a great listener and truly cares about making sure you are being treated as a top priority.
Where did you grow up and how long have you lived here?
I was born in Boston, MA but lived outside of the city for most of my life. I moved back to Boston for college at 18 and at the age of 20, I moved to Managua, Nicaragua all on my own. I have lived in Yelm since 2015 and enjoy the peacefulness and beautiful scenery.
What are at least 3 activities that you like doing on the weekends when you’re not doing insurance?
I have a four year old son, so my weekends involve him as my top priority. He is in pre-school and daycare while I’m at work, so weekends are the best time for me to take him to a park or out for a movie. He loves just being at home in the backyard looking for bugs! So you can find me on the weekends running away from my son showing me a new creepy crawler but no matter what it is, I enjoy each second I spend with him.
What’s your favorite family tradition?
Being at home on Christmas Eve cuddled up in new pajamas and our favorite Christmas movie: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. Now that I have a 4 year old, I enjoy watching him experience each Christmas as if it was the first time each year.
If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life; what would it be and why?
So I Married an Axe Murderer – I love to laugh
If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
I’d want the ability to travel to any spot in the world with a quick blink of an eye. If I could spend a day in Panama without the travel time or make it before the Celtics tip off at the Boston Garden, I’m all in!
