Licensed Account Manager
Kaelynn is fresh into the insurance business! She previously worked at a dealership doing a little bit of everything related to admin-but mainly accounting. She is 25 years old with a crazy 4 year old boy. Kaelynn loves helping people and is a very social person. She enjoys long walks on the beach, pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
Where did you grow up and how long have you lived here?
I grew up in Maple Valley, WA and transferred to Bonney Lake, WA where I graduated. I moved to Oregon for a short period of time, then to San Diego for about 4 years. I loved it there, it was my happy place! I moved back to Washington when I had my son because my mom (his “Mima”) is his absolute favorite person on the planet (including me I think!) and I couldn’t keep him away from her. I’ve been in Olympia for a couple years now and it reminds me of a mini-Portland!
What are at least 3 activities that you like doing on the weekends when you’re not doing insurance?
I’m a very family-oriented person, so I love doing anything with family. Hanging out with my mom or grandma is a good time for me! I also love dancing. If there is music, you will probably find me dancing. I’m also a foodie! I hate cooking, but I love going out to eat.
What’s your favorite family tradition?
I never really thought of it as a tradition, but since my son was a baby, every Christmas eve he would get a present to open and his Christmas footy pajamas! Every year, we wear our footie pajamas to bed on Christmas Eve and open presents in the morning wearing them. Recently, the last couple years, my boyfriend and I have matching ones (which are usually more on the girly side!).
Something else my son and I do that is kind of “our thing” is sleepovers. We move all furniture in the living room, move both our mattresses out to the living room floor, and have one big sleepover with snacks and movies for the night. We usually do this once every other month! He loves it.
If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life; what would it be and why?
Anything Will Farrell. I can quote almost all his movies. Watching “Elf” with me is more like a live show…
